BioScan

Sixpent’s own biometric terminal. It recognises a person by face, fingerprint, or ID card, and writes the verified event into the attendance and access systems Sixpent builds.

What happens after recognition

  1. 01

    Person

Someone arrives at the terminal — at a desk, on a wall, or at a turnstile — and presents a face, a fingerprint, or an ID card.

  2. 02

    BioScan

The terminal recognises them. Its infrared channel is the liveness check: a photograph held up to it does not pass.

  3. 03

    Verified event

What leaves the terminal is an event — who was recognised, and when.

  4. 04

    Sixpent system

The event is written into the software Sixpent built for the operation: attendance, access records, or the wider workflow.

  5. 05

    Operational outcome

A door opens or stays shut. Attendance is recorded. Payroll starts from hours nobody had to encode a second time.

Smart Attendance with Payroll is the documented case: the check-in at BioScan becomes the attendance record, and leave, overtime, and payroll are worked from that same record.

Recognition

Face · Fingerprint · ID

Three ways to be recognised, so the one that suits the site is the one you use.

Recognition time

≤ 0.1s

Per person, at the door — matched on the way up to it rather than stopped at it.

Concurrent

5 people at once

Read at once, not in a queue: five people approaching together are five people through.

Built for deployment

IP65 · Visible + IR

Sealed against dust and rain, and the infrared channel is the liveness check: a photograph held up to it does not pass.

Connected to software

The record writes itself

Every entry lands in the attendance and access records we built for you — not in a device log somebody exports on Friday.

Biometric access, connected to the system behind it.

Hardware that becomes part of the system. The terminal has no database of its own — it writes to the attendance and access records in the software we built for you, which is the whole reason we ship one at all.
